My career began in theatre, after graduating from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama I worked at The Royal Court Theatre, The Cambridge Theatre Company and in the West End. I can proudly say I worked on one of the West End’s biggest flops- Bernadette the People’s Musical, a show that’s rehearsal period was longer than its actual run!
My love of Comedy and Entertainment led me to television. I started at the BBC as a runner and over the last 20 years I have had an absolutely fabulous time working my way up the ladder to producing. I have been lucky enough to work with incredible and inspirational talent both in front of and behind the camera. I have produced shows for the BBC , C4 and recently for the ever growing online platforms like Funny Fosters.
As well as collaborating with the ‘establishment’ I also love working with new talent and writers. Small budgets and tight schedules don’t scare me. I believe my experience and knowledge make me a very good producer. If an idea excites me, then no matter what the challenges, I will make it happen with vision and creativity, on budget, on schedule.
As well as being a freelance producer I also have my own production company Bryer Patch Productions.
